On May 27, the Proya Foundation, in partnership with the Shanghai Adream Charitable Foundation, officially launched the "Love in the Frontier to Lighten up the Port" project at Funing No. 4 Primary School in Yunnan Province. This marks the third border school supported by Proya Foundation, following its contributions to Dure Town Middle School in Fuyun County and Jigeng Township Primary School in Wuqia County, Xinjiang.
The launch ceremony was attended by leaders of local education authority, school leadership, and partner organizations. During the event, Proya Foundation donated 650 bottles of Proya Cosmetics sunscreen to the local education authority. In return, students from Funing No. 4 Primary School presented a treasured piece of Poya songbook artwork and offered hand-crafted Zhuang ethnic sachets to welcome guests from afar.
In the newly established "Dream Classroom", fourth-grade students took part in a hands-on workshop titled "My Hometown and Its Cuisine", creating miniature local dishes out of colored clay. Proya Cosmetics volunteer instructors also led a DIY hand cream class, inspiring creativity and aesthetic appreciation among the children.
The project also supports faculty development. Teachers from Kunming Panlong Primary School and Funing No. 4 Primary School engaged in a teaching exchange focused on sharing resources and optimizing instructional practices. Meanwhile, the Proya Foundation team visited relocated families in the region. During the visit, Chairwoman Fang Aiqin emphasized, "Education is the key to changing lives. Our mission is not only to build good schools, but also to safeguard the hopes of every family."
This initiative brought together a wide network of Proya Cosmetics's philanthropic partners, amplifying the impact through a synergistic "cluster effect" and continuing to bring resources and warmth to education in China's border regions.
